About Buffalo
The Buffalo software acquires news stories from an RSS feed it analyses the content and makes a guess about whether the news is good or bad. News stories classed as good are shown in green and those classed as bad in red. The software is not 100% accurate as it has only been trained on a small amount of data.
"This content is from BBC News" and is taken from the BBC news front page UK edition feed. Buffalo is made possible by these open source Java projects Rome, CI-Bayes, Quartz and Spring.
Thanks goes to Google for generally being awesome, but specifically for the App Engine which now supports Java. Which this project and many more use.
This is a work in progress and the plan is to continue improving Buffalo.
